Wore my new coat just the other day on a woods walk. Temperature was just below freezing and found the coat to be very comfortable and warm as well as the Spruce green wool pants which were light and warm as well. Nice attention to detail. Green Buffalo Plaid is not common here in northeast Massachusetts as I noticed people noticing my new coat.

Courtney of customer service was awesome. She boxed up the 3x tall green checker wool coat that I was getting in exchange for the 2x so it would be ready in the morning to ship to me! Great customer service! The coat is absolutely beautiful and I plan to get a red and black one next year strictly for hunting while this green checker one is for a winter coat. Best coats in the world!

Lovely fabric and color, very warm. High quality besides the hood, drawstring, and the zipper - those little details made a difference. It's 85% great. Improvements needed: the "hood" is a doll-size joke and the drawstring seems pointless given the tiny size of the hood. Also, I agree with the other reviewers that the zipper seems nearly impossible sometimes, and you really have to yank on it to the point where you imagine it might break. The drawstring is a much less sturdy material and seems like a thin shoelace. The coat would have been better with a real, larger hood, sturdier or no drawstring, and a better zipper.
