I just checked in today to see if this jacket is still sold. I'm happy it is. I bought mine 25 years ago and still wear it weekly as always have. it hasn't seen too much rough treatment, but I have worn it as I normally would with no special effort to keep it nice. It's at ease whether you're about town, doing chores, or hunting. What else is great is that it looks just about the same as it did when I bought it. I'm kind of a jacket collector and own quite a few that I really like. Without exception I get compliments more this jacket than any other. I don't know why, but people just really like it. I didn't buy it for fashion, I just wanted a good, classic jacket from an old company that would stand the test of time in looks and durability - and it has. It's not too heavy but still plenty warm. I'm writing this to express how great the quality is, how durable it is, and how its timeless design is enduringly attractive. You won't regret this purchase. I just received my coat today in the spruce green. Absolutely love the weight of it. I’m a large guy and do not like heavy weight clothing and this is perfect. Now I’m ready to go wear it out in the cold and snow.
