Looks like it is very well made, but nonetheless I am quite disappointed in this coat. It is VERY light—more like a fall coat for Southern California than a winter coat for anywhere cold.
Also runs small. I wear a 44 regular all day long—have for decades. This fits me more like a 42 or even a 40. Returning for a refund and the search for a good winter coat continues.

Very warm and comfortable coat. Awesome for Adirondack still hunting! Quiet and durable.

Fabulous jacket, but the inside pocket is already falling off!

The jacket was just as pictured, with a full cut fit, heavy wool fabric and great construction. When its really cold out I like to wear a knit cap under a hood so I like jacket hoods to be on the roomy side with a couple inches of face overlap for snow protection. The hood on this jacket was on the snug side with no overlap even through it was a 2XL. There's no way a knit cap would fit underneath. I assumed that the hood size would increase as the jacket size increased. Maybe I could just exchange the hood for a hood for a 4XL since all the jackets were made locally. I called customer service but they said that wasn't possible since all the hoods are the same size for all jacket sizes. The hood wasn't that big a deal to make me return the jacket, so the plan is to buy a yard of matching fabric, and make some hood adjustments myself.

I opted for the green black muted plaid and it doesn’t disappoint.
