I bought the small (Size 40) in Adirondack, which is a very classy look. If I were using the coat for hunting, I'd choose the more traditional red or green but I'm not, so it works great for me for all occasions. It's well made and well-constructed. On a cold, rainy, windy day, it won't work heating miracles unless you wear a shell over it, because it is wind resistant but certainly not windproof. Any other time, it is sufficient on its own. I'm a fan.

Arrived within a week of ordering and right onetime for the cold weather of February! Beautifully made coat and very warm. I ride my eBike in winter and this coat really helps repel the cold air. Pockets are a nice size too! This jacket is very sharp to look at, I've gotten many complements, you don't see many coats this well made. Totally worth the money spent on this awesome jacket!

I bought the green check version of this jacket in 1988. I just wore it last night! It has always kept me warm and is still one of my favorites hanging in the closet. When I bought it, the sleeves were not cuffed, so I had that done along the way. At about the halfway point, I had to have the jacket relined. Otherwise, it looks as good as new. I can’t say enough about Johnson Woolen Mills. I absolutely love this coat.

Love the coat. Runs small. Buy one size larger than usual.
