Very well made, high quality

Hunted hard in this jac shirt in Maine straight through muzzleloader into mid December. Wore it in 30 degrees temps, wore it in 0 degree temps. Only way to go. Tracking and still hunting. Top tier quality, top tier company. I’m a customer for life if they keep it up! They also took care of me no questions asked when a pair of pants had a shipping issue. Good ol fashion made in America quality and customer service. Something few and far these days. Thanks Johnson Woolen Mills!

First off, let me say the staff today were amazing ! Had the pleasure of meeting the new owner and what a fabulous, down to earth great man!! He has a vsion and can't wait to watch him succeed! Now to the jacket. What an amazing design, feel and quality to this jacket. As soon as I saw it in person I was impressed, but when I put it on, I knew I was leaving with it! I am 5'10", 220 and athletic build. I am generally and XL all day long across many brands, but the XXL in this cut fit me perfectly. Still room to layer underneath, but I will say it fits perfect with a tee shirt or a puffy underneath! Hats off JWM, customer for life :)

Bought this Jac shirt for still hunting in New England. It’s a perfect layer to wear when you’re on the move and it’s 35 degrees or warmer. I’m 6’2” 210lbs and a size XL fits perfectly and it allows just enough room to wear a long sleeve 1/4 zip base-layer underneath for when it gets into the lower 30’s. (You will get cold if you’re not moving) I’ve put miles on mine through all kinds of junk and it holds up to whatever I put it through and it’s quiet. Only upgrades it needs is a taller/stiffer collar to cut the wind gusts off of your neck. AND Johnson NEEDS to make this same Jac Shirt in the slim athletic cut, with more options like color and thicker wool such as the 20 or 24oz for them really cold days. Other than that, you won’t be disappointed with this purchase if you like to hunt on the move.
