About Johnson Woolen Mills

A Tradition Of Quality...

Ingenuity and Environmentally Conscious...
From the very first day of operation, nearly 200 years ago, Johnson Woolen Mills understood the meaning of no waste. Every piece of wool, every stitch, every string and every shipping pallet had a value for the factory, it's customers or the staff. On the production line, a garment starts at one end of a room the size of a football field and is passes up the line of woolen and tailoring specialists, each of them bringing special talents to the construction of Johnson Woolen Mill products, while paying close attention not to waste a single piece of fabric.

A Tradition That Continues To Grow...

I've been wearing Johnson Wool for most of my life and have only wore out one. My son is wearing one that I got 30 years ago and it still looks like new. My current green and black shirt jac has seen better days

I bought two of the warmest, greatest, most enjoyable to wear coats I own from Johnson Woolen Mills in Vermont. I live in Texas, which is a lot warmer than what I consider the "Frozen North" where these coats are made, but I still get cold, and when I do there is nothing I like more than pulling one one of their big, well insulated coats.
