Perfect for a modern lifestyle and one of the most versatile jackets you’ll ever wear, from the 1930’s Johnson Woolen Mills has designed the Jac Shirt featuring a cape over the shoulders, front and back for added warmth and water repellency. It also features a zip front closure, two breast pockets and two lower slash pockets. This unlined favorite is popular with everyone.

I have owned my green ‘Double Cape Jack Shirt’ for about 20 years now, and it has worn very well over the years. It is very worm, and it breaks the wind well. People still compliment it when they see me wearing it (which is daily during the winter months). Of course, I have to explain to them that it’s over 20 years old, and that most of the buttons are missing now and the stitching in the fabric is showing, I live in Kansas City, MO now but I still wear it every chance I get to remind me of my home back in Maine.

Most versatile jacket I own. On cool New England spring/fall days this jacket is just right, you never freeze and you never sweat. It repels water with ease, you’d have to swim in the thing to get it soaked through! For colder days its lack of lining allows you to throw a hoodie on underneath and just like that you’re wearing a great cold weather jacket. Had mine for five years and it looks like new. Although I own two other cold weather jackets from Johnson and they are top notch too, in my opinion this is my best because its overall versatility, comfort and durability. This is your everyday jacket you grab on your way out the door.

Great product fits true to size very well made. Great to see that a company still makes clothing for big men.

I have always worn one of these Jack shirts since 1973. I think I’m on my second one. A winter without one of these is like a summer without sunshine. Born and raised in Morrisville and now live in Southwestern Indiana. I also have a lined vest that matches my jack shirt.
I can’t live without my Johnson Woolen Mills shirt and vest.
