I have worn both the Johnson Woolen Mills famous spruce green wool pants and wool hunting pants for over 40 years! They’re real warm. They’re excellent pants to wear hunting and cutting firewood. The pants are long lasting as well. I highly recommend this product. You won’t be disappointed. They can be passed down to other family members too. Outstanding Quality!!

I purchased my Spruce Green Wool Pants while attending Johnson State College in 1979! 35 years later they are as warm and rugged as ever. They don’t get as much use as when I lived in Vermont but they are my go to pants for winter outdoor activities. (Okay, I’m bragging, but they still fit!) ((I think I paid around $40)) Cannot give them high enough praise.

my Johnson wool hunting pants are over 30 years old and still perfect!
I’d love another pair but not in the budget at today’s prices 🙁

I have owned a pair of these wool pants for over 20 years now, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these wool pants to everyone…. The pants will keep you warm in extremely cold conditions, unfortunately I have to get a new pair since my waist has gotten a little bigger!!!!

Absolutely phenomenal. I think everyone should own at least one set of wool clothing, or at the very least some wool socks. I got a wool coat from All American Clothing Co. a while ago, I think it’s a Cruiser Jacket. It feels a lot less lonely now.
That jacket, and every other piece of wool clothing I’ve ever worn, stops wind dead in its tracks. On a cold, windy day, you will not feel a thing on any spot that’s clothed in wool. People should start wearing more wool again.
I look forward to these pants serving me well for decades to come.
